| I was on my way with my girl to makati...when my girl popped in a tape from some group Rapskallion...i didn't really care for these damn pinoy artists anymore because most of the stuff coming out is the same ol ... shit. Well I had to listen to it anywayz cuz she insisted that it was good music...after the beat dropped on a song called "here we are" i started to get interested...it sounded like something that can sell internationally...then the rhymes dropped...i expected a FOB voiced punk talkin nonsense, but i was surprised from the flow and context of the verses...it was solid lyrics that made sense to me that drove me back to the days when i was growin up...it was some real shit that hits you...then came the chorus sung in a mellow voice settin you up for a nostalgic kinda vibe...this shit is definitly music...i was expecting another wack ass group but got the shock of my life...I found my girl bouncin on my seat and my head bobbin to the beat...it was like a new breath of fresh air rushed into the dying opm industry...I asked my girl what label they're with...she surprisingly said they're Underground...I figured yeah most of the music worth listening to is . |
